Articles can be submitted at any time of the year and must comply with the following guidelines (editorial standards follow the eighth MLA edition).
Evaluation Process
The decision to publish an article relies on a thorough evaluation by at least two external experts. If discrepancies arise, a third evaluator is consulted. All papers undergo objective assessment based on criteria such as originality, relevance, and clarity. The editor-in-chief and the editorial board ensure transparency and impartiality throughout the process.
Management of Practices Contrary to Scientific Integrity
Glosas adopts a rigorous system to prevent and manage practices contrary to scientific integrity, such as plagiarism, reproduction of previously published works, or multiple submissions. All contributions must be original, unpublished, and not posted online or submitted to other journals.
The double-blind peer review process ensures transparency and impartiality. Each article is evaluated by two anonymous external experts; in case of conflicting opinions, a third reviewer is consulted. Criteria include originality, relevance, and adherence to ethical standards.
In cases of suspected violations, the editorial board intervenes to investigate and, if necessary, reject the work or retract already published articles. Authors are informed of decisions via email, and the journal is committed to maintaining high ethical standards throughout the process.
Non-Discrimination
The journal is committed to evaluating all papers solely based on academic criteria, without any distinction. We will not consider factors such as the authors’ origin, gender, beliefs, or political affiliation.
Confidentiality and Ethics
All information related to the received manuscripts will be kept strictly confidential. Authors and reviewers will always remain anonymous. The editor-in-chief and the editorial team are committed to acting with integrity and avoiding any conflicts of interest.
Quality and Continuous Improvement
The journal continually aims to enhance its editorial process. To achieve this, it values the opinions of authors, reviewers, and editorial board members.
